The ‘In Courage’ Newsletter — this Thursday: “Two Minute / Two Pages Resumes: How to Package Yourself
Discover the key to not only opening the door, but getting the interview. Learn how to market and sell yourself. Learn how to communicate more effectively.
3 Uses for a Resume
If you can put together a resume, then you may be able to explain why someone should hire you. But, note, the reverse is also true.
2. A Door Pass
To be used as you network you way in to a company. A good resume will help the gatekeepers to “wave you through” on your path to the face-to-face interview.
3. An Interview Script
The people who have the authority to offer you a job are almost never good at interviewing. A well-written resume provides them with a script of questions to ask you. It is to everyone’s advantage that they ask you the right questions, so they can get the best answers, so that they can see that you are a good fit for the job and the company. At the same time, the resume bullet points that they choose will tell you about them and what they feel their company needs.
The neat thing about this is: The presentation will tell you what the finished resume will need to have, and how to get there, but to get there, you may learn more about you than you thought you knew.

And brings him before great men (and women!).
(Parenthetic statements are mine. This is such an applicable verse, that it would be a great loss to omit it, and a misrepresentation of God if even one reader thought God did not mean for this to apply to everyone, not just men.)
Now, just in case that seems all too lofty — Don’t you want your words to work for you? Every employer knows that an employee who communicates badly will just create messes that the boss has to clean up. They’re going to love it that you communicate clearly and sharply, not to mention that you’ll find that the boss
Join us on Thursday, and exchange that poor wrapper for a winning package.
That’s it for this week. And may the God of hope fill you with hope!
